Eye Test

Optical Pachymetry

Optical pachymetry is an eye test that measures the thickness of the cornea, the transparent part of the eye in front of the iris and pupil. It takes an image of the cornea without touching the eye. The cornea accounts for around two-thirds of the eye’s focusing power, and its thickness is important when assessing eye health and suitability for certain surgical procedures.

It is a quick, painless, non-contact and precise test that provides valuable information to the ophthalmologist, supporting the early diagnosis of disease and the preservation of sight.
