Color Vision

A color vision test assesses a person’s ability to distinguish colors. Normal color vision is called trichromacy, and people with this type of vision can see millions of different colors. Some people, however, have color vision deficiencies that prevent them from seeing certain colors or distinguishing between them. If you think you may have a color vision deficiency, speak to your ophthalmologist about color vision testing.
