Treatment
Pediatric Strabismus Surgery
Pediatric strabismus surgery is a procedure to correct eye misalignment in children. Strabismus, sometimes known as crossed eyes, is a condition in which the eyes do not point at the same object. It can cause diplopia (double vision), amblyopia (reduced vision in one eye) and cosmetic concerns. It is a safe and effective procedure with a high success rate. Surgery can correct eye misalignment, improve the child’s vision and prevent amblyopia.
