Eye Test

Widefield Retinal Photography

Widefield retinal photography (WF) is an imaging test that captures a high-resolution digital photograph of the back of the eye. WF retinal photography provides a panoramic view of up to 82% of the back of the eye, enabling the early detection of various eye conditions, such as AMD, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, retinal tumors and choroidal tumors, vitreous opacities and other conditions.

It has changed the way patients are examined, as this test greatly reduces the need to dilate the pupils to examine the back of the eye.

It is a quick, painless and precise test that provides valuable information to the doctor, supporting surgical planning and the early detection of disease.
